Hi Jerry . I like the idea . The only problem is that it's not user freindly. I still haven't looked properly at how it works. Maybe it can be improved.

I posted here some VBA code to achieve an autocompleting functionality when inputting items from a long list into an input cell. You may find it interesting. The only problem that I was unable to overcome was very fast keyboard input causing the list not to update.

Here is a workbook demo.
