Hi all,

Using Excel 2007 with Access 2007.

I have a database with tables that are linked to Oracle tables
I could bypass with a direct query to the tables - but not sure how to do that.

When I run by vba code with reference to ADO Library, everything appears to work swimmingly. I even receive the same prompts in Excel that I would receive if I ran the Link Table Manager in Access to refresh the links.

At the prompt, I enter the correct password. After a little more time I eventually receive this error.
Run-time error -2147467259 (80004005)
ODBC--connection to 'OracleServer' failed.

Any ideas how I can defeat this error?
thx
