1004 error on Validation.InCellDropdown

Getting a "1004" error with message "Method 'InCellDropdow' of object 'Validation' failed" (first one). Not getting error on second one embedded in FOR Each........

Range("F24").Interior.ColorIndex = 6
Range("F24").Value = ""
Range("G24").Validation.InCellDropdown = True

For Each cell In Worksheets("ROM").Range("B24:B26")
cell.Offset(0, 1).Interior.ColorIndex = 6 'yellow
cell.Offset(0, 1).Font.ColorIndex = xlColorIndexAutomatic
cell.Font.ColorIndex = xlColorIndexAutomatic 'black
cell.Offset(0, 1).Value = "None"
cell.Offset(0, 1).Validation.InCellDropdown = True
cell.Offset(0, 1).Validation.ShowError = True

Any thoughts?

It was blank at the time. I put a valid value in and it worked fine. Thanks!
