12 digit number is being rounded in mail merge

I am using a mail merge that imports a certain number 440030228646 for example but in the word document it shows it being 4.4003022865e+011
I have tried multiple varieties of field switches, formatting as text in the original spreadsheet, etc.

How might I fix that to show the original number?

Try using the TEXT function in Excel, i.e.

=TEXT(A2,"000000000000")

or

=TEXT(A2,"0")
