I can't seem to find a formula for the 1st Wednesday of the previous month. I found this formula for the current month.

=DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2),8)-WEEKDAY(DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2),4))

How could I adjust it to show the previous month? Or is there another type of formula I could use?

Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
Hello dopest, welcome to MrExcel,

You can just add -1 to the two MONTH parts, i.e.

=DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2)-1,8)-WEEKDAY(DATE(YEAR(A2),MONTH(A2)-1,4))

or if you don't mnd using EOMONTH function then this is shorter

=EOMONTH(A2,-2)+8-WEEKDAY(EOMONTH(A2,-2)+4)
