q-1) how do i delete and exiting macro and assign the same shortcut for
another purpose.

q-2) kindly let me know the keyboard shortcut, to rename an existing
worksheet in a particular workbook.

Tools > Macro > Macros, select macro in question and click Options. Delete the shortcut key. Select your other macro and reassign it.

q-2) kindly let me know the keyboard shortcut, to rename an existing worksheet in a particular workbook.
Don't think there is one. You could hold down Alt and press OHR in succession...
