2007 Conditional Formating

I'm having an issue with Excel 2007.

My understanding is that between 2003 and 2007 Conditional Formatting rules were changed where when using Copy and Paste of one Cell to another Cell that 2003 would replace the new Cell Conditional Formatting where 2007 ADD's the two together.

If this is indeed this seems to be causing huge problems for me.

Is there a way to get Excel 2007 to revert back to the 2003 method. Would switching to 2010 fix or allow reverting back to 2003 method?

Thank you.

Do you hate GETPIVOTDATA?
Prevent GETPIVOTDATA. Select inside a PivotTable. In the Analyze tab of the ribbon, open the dropown next to Options and turn it off
Confirmed, 2007 does indeed merge the conditional formats upon pasting.

I think MS thought that would be cool.
And in a way it is, but I can also see how it is bad too.

It is resolved in 2010.
You have the choice..
By default, it overwrites the Conditional formats upon pasting.
But, if you do paste special, there is an option for "Paste All, Merging conditional formats"
