I have created excel sheets using 2010 XP Home version, I tried to transfer to my HOME COMPUTER using 2003 excel with no luck. I get the "Read only" message. When I try to SAVE AS it still gives me READ ONLY. I know 2003 might not be compatible but is there a way I can use the 2010 excel version on my WORK computer using 2007 excel?
All my formulas read NAME# & VALUE# instead of the actual formula.
Hope you have enough to SEE my problem. Either way, Thanx for your help.

What format did you save them in? Excel 97-2003 workbook (*.xls)?

My work sheet was subregionally created using 2010 and the file was saved as ".xlsx"
Thanx for you interest.

I don't know for sure that this is the reason but the .xlsx format definitely came in with 2007 so perhaps that's why 2003 can't open it.

Can you try saving as "Excel 97-2003 workbook (*.xls)"?
