2nd Largest value in a Table

Hi, Could anybody pls help me with the following, I have a set of data in a table, The max command gives me the largest value in the table, However how do I get the second largest value in the table, thanks very much

Welcome to the Board!

Use the LARGE function:

=LARGE(A1:A1000,2)

The '2' above sets which large value you want (ie 2nd largest here).
