I'm new to the forum world so bear with me.

I have a list of employees with 3 columns (Name, Job Code, and Shift #). I need to have a table that shows 3 sections for each shift, and across the top of the section would have the job code. Under the job code would show a list of those names that are for that shift and for that job code.

Its not too difficult to create the table manually with a few filters and copy and paste. But the large company I work for has hundred of employees and the labor report is changing every week, so it would be nice to have it update simply by pasting the new labor report in from an email (the labor report comes out in the 3 column format (Name, Job Code, and Shift #)).

Current Data on the left, table needed on the right... I hope the post looks good enough...

Bring active cell back into view
Start at A1 and select to A9999 while writing a formula, you can't see A1 anymore. Press Ctrl+Backspace to bring active cell into view.

This sounds like a pivot table. If you're getting in raw data, and want to create a table from that, I would suggest trying that first.
If you have already done this, and it's not acceptable, maybe a screen shot, or example of what you start with, to what you want as an end result (just a sample is satisfactory) would be beneficial.

I have not mastered the pivot table, but I will do some research and give that a try. Thanks.
