Forgive my previous topic, I was in a hurry and misled
I have 3 columns of data
column A contains dates in the format mmm/yy
column B contains a text entry ie purchases
column C contains monetary amounts ie £300.67
I have 2 dates in cell F1 & G1
I want to sum the figures in column C if the entry in column A is equal to or between two values in F1 and G1 and the text entry in column B =purchases
How do I get sumproduct to do this ?
