Hi folks, I wonder if soemone can point me in the right direction for calculating a pricing formula based on the following...
I am trying to create a price per country based on an item weight, but with a different pricing structure for each country. For example, I want to create a drop down box for each country in Cell A5 (that is OK, I know how to do that). However in the next cell I want to add a weight in Cell D5 ... When I when I do this, I want a pricel to populate cell G5, based on the weight and pricing structure for the country in A5...
The way the pricing structure works is a fixed price per item plus a price per kilo (or part kilo)... For example, Austria is based on 54 being the fixed prices and 390 being the price per kilo... So a 200g item would be 54 plus 1/5th of the 390, making a price of 132.... a 500g item would be 54 plus 1/2 of 390 249....
The country list is contained in Cells A19:A46, The fixed price contained in cells B19:B46 and the weight related cost in cells C19:C46
Just to clarify it would look like the following:
Austria 54 390
Belgium 60 260
Denmark 140 375
And so on....
Is this easy to do and if so what is the best way to do it....
Thanks in advance
Serge
P.S. I hope this makes sense and does not come accross as the ramblings of a buffoon....
