I have a short Sub that runs well but i'd like to put a msgbox in so that if the user selects the wrong column they get a warning. I can't seem to get anywhere near it.

The length of the list varies day to day (hence it's by user selection) but the column (12 or L) is always the same.

How do i put a msgbox in so that if any other column is selected the user recieves a warming "Wrong Column selected"

Thanks

Mike

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Try

Code:
If ActiveCell.Column <> 12 Then
    MsgBox "Wrong column", vbExclamation
    Exit Sub
End If

Brilliant thank you, I've been dancing around that for ages and getting nowhere.
Cheers
