I tried finding the answer to this but cannot seem to. So I
have data in various parts of the worksheet like this -

Player Points Player Points Player Points ....

Figo 2.24 Kaka 2.13 Ronaldo 2.01
Kaka 1.97 Ronaldo 1.78 Figo 1.50
Buffon 1.50 Figo 1.50

What I want is to consolidate this into a single table
like this -

Player Points

Figo 2.24+1.50+1.50
Kaka 1.97+2.13
Ronaldo 1.78+2.01
Buffon 1.50

Thanks for any help!

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
Starting in a simple way, if you list the players' names (with the first one in cell A7) then try this to sum the points:

=SUMIF($A$1:$E$3,$A7,$B$1:$F$3)
