Hi, all,

I tried to gorup the column of a pivot table which shows the amount. I would like to group it such that it chows the column like 0-<1000, 1000-<2000, 2000 - <3000..

I tried to set the group start at 0, end at 10000, and interval by 1000. However, after the setting, it shows like 0-1000, 1000-2000, 2000-3000 .... >10000

It seems that each group will overlap in 1000th amount. Other than that, how shall I set it such that it could show the range like 0-<1000, 1000-<2000, 2000 - <3000... >=10000.

Thank you for your advice.

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
You can't alter the way that works. You'd need to create the bandings in your source data - e.g. using a lookup table - and then use that new column to group in the pivot table.
