Hello!

A collague just phoned me asking about something strange. He says that in this excel sheet, he places a number "1" and it automatically changes to "2". He claims it only happens with one.
The cell doesn't have a formula or anything at all.
He sent the workbook to me and I typed a "1" and it just displayed a 1. He says it might be something in his computer, because it happened in other workbooks too.

What could it be?

Thanks very much

Excel Facts

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
Ineresting...

Does the value actually change, or only the displayed value?

I mean, does it change in the Formula Bar as well as the cell?

Does it happen with EVERY instance of 1 like this:

12345 = 22345
11 = 22
100 = 200
2011 = 2022

If that's the case it sounds like an AutoCcorrect rule.
