I currently don't use access. But due to my data in Excel being 100mb and stored in Excel files. I'm considering using Access to store the data and then a pivot table in Excel to analysis it.

My question is if I store the data in Access and analysis it in excel using a pivot table. What will the size of the pivot table be. Only the size of the data being used or the size of the Access database? I'm asking as, if a pivot table is used across multiple Excel files it takes on the size of all the files combined.
