Access with user name and password

Upon opening the workbook, in Sheet1("Welcome"); i want users to enter their user name and password. If it is correct it takes them to sheet2("Main Menu"). If they enter the wrong username or password diplays the msgbox, "Wrong user name", or "wrong password" which ever is true.

For example the user name is "Manager" and the Password is "access".

If they've already authenticated themselves successfully to Windows, why are you asking them to do it again?

Can't you just check their login name and allow them in (or otherwise) based on that?

I want only my Managers to access those worksheets not the other workers.

So check their login name and allow them in based on that.

Environ("USERNAME") returns the login name of the user.

Windows security is much better than anything you can code in VBA.
