Hi

I need to create a macro which opens an excel document, accesses the contents of an active email and extracts the data such as to, from, subject, date and time from the email.

Does anyone know if it is possible in an excel macro to access the contents of an Active Outlook Email?

Thanks

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Hi

Dont worry i have figured it out now.

Code:
Dim OutMail As Object
Set OutMail = ActiveInspector.CurrentItem

The code above looks at the active outlook email and going to the VB editor in Outlook and selecting F2 and then selecting MailItem shows all Item classes
