Hi all,

I have a spreadsheet with an embedded dataset. Is there anyway that I can access that data via ODBC etc? I can grab the data if I open the spreadsheet and drill into the data from one of th epivot tables, but I dont' want to do that.

Thanks,

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
It's not exposed in any way that I know of in the Object Model (unless it was loaded as an ADO recordset). You have to drill into the data.

I have access to the connection string that was used to populate the data, however, I don't have access to the server. Does that help?

Nope, not unless the data was actually imported (i.e. no link to the original source). Then you could open the workbook and read the recordset, but not otherwise.
