ActiveX Combo box keeps transparent

Hi There, hope somebody can help me, this so odd.

I have an ActiveX combo box that keeps transparent and no chance to change to Opaque. when selecting Opaque then still it keeps transparent.
This even occurs when a new blank sheet and add an ActiveX combo box in the sheet.

Whats going on??? is this an excel problem or a PC issue.

please help.
