Is there a way to add to a board post a small image of a spreadsheet section? This would help to clarify a question I have that is a bit hard to explain... a picture would be very helpful.

That won't work. Just like if you're going to put a page up on a website, you have to have the picture(s) up too.
There are several places on the internet that give you free space, like GeoCities and Tripod, just to name a couple.
I have space on Tripod, but you can't link to pictures so they will show up unless they're on a website. I usually have to either email people the picture or throw together a page with nothing but the picture on it and then link to that.
For example:
This is using the [ img ] tag to a picture I have on Tripod. It won't show up this way.
This is a page I made to show some people a picture in a different message board because I couldn't link to the picture.
This is an attempt on showing a picture on my PC, not on my Tripod space. If you do this, you will be able to see it, since it is on your computer, but no one else will. They will just get the little red "x".
