Hello everyone.

real simple question:

I have one sheet with 1 column and 2000 rows.

the problem is i need add an @ symbol to the beginning of each row. Anyway to use a formula to do this?

Typing them all in by hand would be insane = /.

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Can a formula spear through sheets?
Use =SUM(January:December!E7) to sum E7 on all of the sheets from January through December

A macro approach. Press ALT + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor. Insert > Module then copy and paste

Code:
Sub test()
Dim Lastrow As Long, i
Lastrow = Cells(Rows.Count, 1).End(xlUp).Row
For i = 1 To Lastrow
    Cells(i, 1).Value = "@" & Cells(i, 1).Value
Next i
End Sub

Close the VBE. Tools > Macro > Macros, click test then click the Ruin button.

That should say the 'Run' button :LOL: but always best to create a backup before running (one of my) macros.
