I am trying to figure out how to format B to increase by 10 for each entry in A that is the same number. Is this possible and how?

Try this...

=COUNTIF(A$1:A1,A1)*10

Copy down as needed.

Hi,

Beaten to it but here it is anyway...

In B2 put this...

=IF(A2=A1,B1+10,$B$1)

In B1 type in 10
