I have five columns b thru f. column b is "category" (ie "food") -column d is dollar value spent. Multiple categorys repeat randomly down column b by date (column c). I want to total the dollar values for each category in a cell at the bottom of the worksheet. Don't want to sort and then total ...so how can I choose each category entry and total all dollar values for each category from column c.
