Add specific text in one sheet, put the total on another

I have 17 text values total. They are broken down into 2 groups. 11 in one (group A), 6 in another (group B).
All values are in a single column on one worksheet, many are listed multiple times.
Starting at D2 going down to D150.
I want to count the sum of one group within that column and total it on a separate worksheet within the same workbook.
