Add text in a formula

Hello Folks, New question.

I want to add parentheses around a pasted link cell from another worksheet.

Example:

Sheet 1 Cell A1 I want the cell to show as follows (1) Fortress

Sheet 2 Cell D40 is the cell that has the level of the fortress in this case 1.

So I go this farm with the formula =sheet2!d:40&" Fortress"

So I get the following 1 Fortress

What I want A1 to look like is (1) Fortress

How do I add parentheses to the formula for visual purpose not part of the function process?
