Evening.
Title might not be the best used but couldn’t think what to call it.

I have a worksheet which basically you enter a value into a text box & press a command button to generate a long valued pin code etc.

I wish to be able to send this file to others who might not have excel but once opened / installed etc a user form will appear and do as mentioned above.

I’m sure many simple files you download & use are excel in the background but all they can see is the user form.
They are unable to see the code etc and just use it for adding a value / generating to pin code.

These people of some I’m sure don’t even have excel.
Any advice welcome.
Thanks.

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
If you distribute a workbook, people that don't have Excel installed will not be able to open it. If this is the case with your target audience then you shoud evaluate moving to a Visual Basic application, or a script that can be executed on the target pc.

Bye
