This is what I want to do... I have my trend line, I have my chart... how do I display a vertical line showing where my most recent data and trended data meet as illustrated by the yellow line in the linked picture?
Thanks

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
The closest I have been able to come to is to change the "Y Axis Crosses At" setting (IIRC, on the X Axis format tab) and then format the Y Axis as a heavy coloured line. You could alos (or alternatively) plot historic data and trended data as two separate data series (you will have to have blank cells in the series as "padding" so that the total number and location of data points matches properly) and then set the series to be different line colours and colours / shapes / sizes of data markers...
