Ok guys here is another i would like, Not sure if it can be done but here goes!

formt.png

Is there a way to make a cell turn a colour, and have a tick below it upon a single click in a selected cell

What i mean is say someone clicks cell B24, ( visa ) is there a way to make that cell turn say green, and a tick appear in cell B25 upon a single click on that cell. Now I dont want this everywhere on my sheet just the selected area ( B24,C24,D24,E24,F24,G24,H24,H24) AND THE CELLS BELOW

so it looks like this

I am very new to excel so please try and keep it simple

Thanks Guys

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
Are you willing to use VBA code?

Ha, was my reply that bad! I still would like my orignal plan as i also want to do the same for my Yes and No boxes !

What about if i upload the sheet and someone could stick the code in for me? would that save a few hours lol?

Cheers

Creating the code is not the only thing. If you do not know what you're doing, it will mean that maintenance to the code later on (or bugs or any issues at all) will not be as evident as it may seem. If there is a valid alternative (and there is) you should stick with that alternative until knowledge of VBA code is developed enough. I do not take interest in explaining you VBA events in posts on the board here. Try searching the forum and the internet for Worksheet_SelectionChange.

Thanks for the help, I have looked into it and it looks like it can be done. However I would not know where to start!

When this is done, the sheet is not going to be messed with, so hopfully there will be no bugs or problems. its just a simple select the card type and it ticks it, can there really be that many bugs from it?

Thanks
