User will input an specific date where the cell is formated to show mm/dd/yy. I am racking my little brain trying to figure a formula to add 6 business days to the given date.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Hi Chia
Welcome to the board

The function WORKDAY does exactly that. Check the help.

Remark: You may have to enable the Analysis ToolPak (Tools>Add-ins)

Hope this helps

Sorry for being an idiot. But i know little about formulas on here. Just enough to get myself in trouble.

Cell e44 is the cell which user will be placing a date ex. 9-14-06.

I need this cell to actually display a date that is 6 business days in the future. (9-22-06). i tried to type in the formula as follows but all i am getting is this "##################" and the pound signs are about 50 characters long.
=E44+(WORKDAY+6)

I am using another cell for the formulas for now untill i can get this figured out.

thanks again
