Adding Dates to a worksheet

Here is one that has me stumped..

I want to have my worksheet start with a date and automatically add 6 days to that orginal date.

Ex: 10/1/06 - want to add in the next cell- 10/7/06
The cell will automatically add the 6 days after the 1st.

I tried using an expression like:
=DateAdd("d", +6, [PromisedDate])

But either I didnt get it correct OR its not what I am looking for.

In essence, the whole worksheet will keep having rolling dates for each week, kinda like a time sheet, except this will just put the dates for that week. EX: 10/1/06-10/07/06

Is there a nice formula for this ? or do I need to create an expression ?

Tired of beating my head each week I have to manually change the dates, which I do forget on a regular basis.
