Adding text to equal no value and skip over to do average

I have a table for the month with dates on one row, amount of calls reviewed per day on second row(row2), hours Worked on the third row(row3) and each column has a fourth row which. does an average of Row2/Row3. at the end of row2 and row3 it sum the totals. on certain days my reps have PTO and i want to insert the word "PTO" in tow row3 and take any value from the colum so it only adds the rows with data...

this is an example of the spreedsheet to track productivity only thing different is that it would be from the 1st of the month to the last day in this case the 31st. I would appreciate it if i can get the formula to calculate this along with inputing "PTO" on days off and making that section not have a value or count it as part of averages. thank you ahead of time
