Advance Query Criteria Question

Hello:
In the autofilter the custom section for filtering I can select the logical test "Contains" and "Does Not Contain". I would like to use that functionality as a criteria in the Advance Filter". If this is possible, does anyone know what the proper syntax is for using "contains" in my criteria.

You could try:
=*text*
<>*text*

For contains and does not contain, respectively.
