I am having trouble getting the correct syntax for test used in an advanced criteria. Because I want to return the exact text name, I want to use the ="=text" syntax. But, when I try to do this in vba, it does not work . Here is an example:

Code:
.Range("AP2").Value = ""=&Ce.Offset(0, 2).Value&"""

When the value is copied to the range, I get False returned as value.
Can you help me with the correct way to code this?

Thank you.
Mike

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
If you want:

="=text"

in the cell and Ce.Offset(0, 2).Value contains text, try:

.Range("AP2")..FormulaR1C1 = "=""=" & Ce.Offset(0, 2).Value & """"
