Hi all,

I have the following simplified data:

Field1 Field2
a in
b in
a out
c in

I would like to filter all the Field1 values where the Field2 value is "out".

In the example above, I would like a filter that will show all the "a" in Field1.

Field1 Field2
a in
a out

Can this be done? I'd imagine will require formula criteria.

Thanks

Excel Facts

Remove leading & trailing spaces
Save as CSV to remove all leading and trailing spaces. It is faster than using TRIM().
Got it.

Assuming my table is in J8:K12

=J9=INDEX($J9:$J$12,MATCH("out",$K9:$K$12,0))

It is amazing how the prompts ($) makes a lot of difference in the formula criteria.
