advancedfilter paste values

I am having difficulty in being able to paste the output of the filter to the destination as a value.
Can anyone help please?


Selection.AdvancedFilter Action:=xlFilterInPlace, Unique:=True
Selection.Copy Destination:=Sheets("exceptions").Range("A10")

To paste as values you need to first do this

Selection.Copy

and then, in the destination, use the PasteSpecial method of the Range.

I tried that method but it would not activate.
Should there be a , or a . after the Range statement,

Should the copy selection be on a separate line to the destination?

ActiveSheet.Paste
