I'm having trouble using the after update method, to return to the original position. can anyone give a solution?

For example:

Peivate sub Cmd_Click()
Dim x as double, y as double, xy as double
X=txt1.value
Y=txt2.value
Xy=x*y
Txt1=""
End sub

Sub txt1_afterupdate()
Call Cmd_click
Txt1.setfocus
End sub

but the problem is it doesn't want to focus back on txt1

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Don't see anything wrong with that. Try stepping through (F8) and make sure code execution is what you expect.
I suggest that you copy/paste code rather than typing it out - it would avoid errors like Peivate sub Cmd_Click() - especially where it really matters. Also, please use code tags (vba button on posting toolbar) and maintain indentation. It will help us to help you.
