We are looking to pass out blank copies of a database to a number of clients for completion. On return these will be imported into a master copy. How do we identify returns from each body within the table structure? Is there an easy way to create an alphanumeric unique key in the main table?

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
You can create any sort of unique key you want. How about basing one on something specific to that company, i.e. Company Name or Phone Number, etc?
