Another replace question

Currently I have a cell (formatted as text) which is

10.07
11.07

I have tried a replace of the "." with "/" but it is not
working as the output is

10-Jul
11-Jul

How can I get it to work. It seems that I have limited
luck with this time-saving function.

Thanks

I presume you want your final result to be MONTH and YEAR:

10.07 = Oct-07
11.07 = Nov-07

If so, do the replace "." with "/". Then Date format the cells to Type = "Mar-01"

I do not want it to be in calendar format only to get a "/" to
replace the ".".

Thanks

Thanks.

Looks like I have to use the substitute formula rather
than the replace function. :(
