Hi Folks.

Is there anyway, in an automated fashion, to append to multiple sheet names? I have 50+ sheets that I want to append with 'WE ' at the beginning of the sheet name. This doesn't necessarily have to be VBA based. I'm just looking for a solution to avoid having to manually do this for each and every sheet.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
try this:
VBA Code:
Sub test()
For i = 1 To Worksheets.Count
 If Worksheets(i).Name <> "exclude" And Worksheets(i).Name <> "also" Then
  Worksheets(i).Name = "WE " & Worksheets(i).Name
 End If
Next i

End Sub
I have put in the facility to exclude renaming some sheets which you will need to list inthe if statement as I have done with "exclude" and "also"

Brilliant. Exactly what I needed. Going to add this one to my toolbox. Thank you.
