Applying autosum to a column of data only in specific circumstances

Hello All,

I hope somebody can help me with my problem.

I have a very long column of data which is a series of results and then several blanks, then another different number of results followed by several blanks and so on. It is very inconsistent.

It looks similar to this:

What I need is immediately following the series of results (indicated by the grey) is the autosum function applied to that previous set of results only and the autosum result left in the cell following (that is the yellow one). I want the other blank cells to remain blank. I do not want ti delete those extra blank cells.

I have tried multiple IF statements with and AND thrown in but not sure how to say (IF blank = AUTOSUM proceeding data set, if blank following another blank leave as blank). I hope that is clear.
