Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Hi,

-Will a formular written in VBA process a lot quicker than in a cell in excel?
Are you just talking about a formula written into a Cell via a macro? If so, whether the formula is "manually" entered or written in by a macro, the time it takes to process once in place will be the same.

-Is is posible to turn off screen updating vir a macro and leave it off untill a second macro turns it on?
Have this at the start of your code (after you've declared your Variables):

Code:
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
And then this at the end (before End Sub):

Code:
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
Hope this helps.
