Auto-correct dates in Excel 2010?

Hi,

Does anyone know if Excel 2010 has the option of disabling the auto-"correction" of words/numbers to dates? This is a huuuge bugbear for me in 2007 and I'd upgrade immediately if I can stop this obnoxious behavior.

Sorry, but this is the same in Excel 2010 as earlier versions. You are not the only one who finds it annoying:
