Auto Fill with Data Validation

I have excel 2010. When I create a 'list' in data validation to choose from, choosing from the drop down box gets a little tedious. Is there a way that Excel will autofill the cell as I start to type? Imagine you have 7 columns, and each column has about 10 different things to choose from in the data validation list...how can I start typing and have 1 of the 10 pop up and then I just hit enter to complete it? THANKS!

Ambidextrous Undo
Undo last command with Ctrl+Z or Alt+Backspace. If you use the Undo icon in the QAT, open the drop-down arrow to undo up to 100 steps.
One thing you can try is typing the list right above the validation list and then hiding those rows. When you start to type it in, it will Autofill based on the cell you typed your value in

Example:
AA
1 Bread
2 Cheese
3 Milk
4 Meat
5 Validation List containing the values above

Hide Rows 1-4

This doesnt work though if you have blank cells between your lists though, but this may do what you need it to.

Hope that helps.
