Auto Filter 'blue arrow' on wrong column

Hi guys,

I have a shared workbook (*shudder*) with auto filters on each column. When I filter say column D, the 'blue arrow' is on column C even though D is filtered.

This has only just started to happen. If I remove the filters and readd them it works fine, until I reopen the file.

Anyone know what could be causing this, and does anyone have a solution?

Cheers,

James

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
When you go in to the Share Workbook dialog, on the Advanced tab, what setting does 'Filter settings' in the 'Include in personal view' section have?

The filter setting is ticked. Is it simply a case of unticking this?
No.

I thought it may have been unticked and that may have been the problem.

If unticked and somebody else opened the file and filtered & saved it then when you open the file you would have their filter setting. I thought that may have been what happened.

If the tick is on and you filter column D then when you open the file again it should still be filtered on column D even if somebody else in the meantime opened it and filtered column C.

The upshot is, I don't have any other ideas why you would get that behaviour, sorry.

The strange thing is, it IS filtered on column D but the blue arrow shows on column C (more of a graphical error it seems).
