I want my excel graph axis to auto-format based on what data I am bringing in – either an absolute number or a percentage. I have a drop down menu and depending on what option you choose you either get an absolute or a percentage. Based on that data I have a graph and I want the data in the graph to update automatically as I choose an option from the drop down meny - including the format of the axis. How do I do that? I work with Excel 2007.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Unless you are doing something to override Excel's default choices, it automatically picks the format used in the data you are plotting.
