I am using Excel 2008 for Mac for work. I make work orders and job tickets. Is there a way to auto fill a date cell with the current date, and the Job ticket number with an incremental number for every time that I open it? For instance today i do work order number 1234 and tomorrow instead of typing 1235 it would auto fill this number when I open it?

Not without VBA, and unfortunately VBA was deprecated from MAC 2008. If you can upgrade to 2011 you can use:

<font face=Calibri><SPAN style="color:#00007F">Private</SPAN> <SPAN style="color:#00007F">Sub</SPAN> Workbook_Open()<br>    <SPAN style="color:#00007F">With</SPAN> Sheets("Sheet1")<br>        .Range("A1").Value = .Range("A1").Value + 1<br>        .Range("B1").Value = <SPAN style="color:#00007F">Date</SPAN><br>    <SPAN style="color:#00007F">End</SPAN> <SPAN style="color:#00007F">With</SPAN><br><SPAN style="color:#00007F">End</SPAN> <SPAN style="color:#00007F">Sub</SPAN></FONT>
