How to keep auto calculate spreadsheets from taking over manual calculate spreadsheets.

When i have an auto calculate spreadsheet open, then open a manual calculate spreadsheet, the auto calculate function takes over.

Other than the obvious - don't open them both at the same time... is there a solution? Its hard to always remember to close the auto calculate spreadsheet before opening an manual calculate spreadsheet.

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
In VBA, double click to Workbook. Then, paste this:
Code:
Private Sub Workbook_NewSheet(ByVal Sh As Object)

If Application.Calculation = Auto Then
Application.Calculation = Manual
Else
Application.Calculation = Auto
End If

End Sub
But I don't think you can apply different calculation for each sheet. Once it picks the method, applies for all.
