Auto Number in Required Cell

Hi there,

Is there any way to get Auto Number to a Particular cell i Mean increment by +1. By the way. I have a excel file and Highlighted with Red.

I need the numbers like "0001", the next generation will be "0002" etc.

assuming yu have hedaing the cell A1 and the you start by cell A2

try the below

Sub test()
Range("A2").NumberFormat = "@"
    Range("A2") = "0001"
LR = Cells.Find(What:="*", SearchDirection:=xlPrevious, SearchOrder:=xlByRows).Row
Range("A2").AutoFill Destination:=Range("A2:A" & LR)
